I've wanted to start a blog for a while now. I bought a domain and even asked a friend to draw a logo for me last summer. But every time I'm close to publishing a post, I let my fears of sharing my writing get the better of me and I end up clicking 'delete' instead. What's different for me between blogging and sharing a photo on social media is that the latter feels like a much more mindless and removed process. With blogging, I want people who took the time to visit my site to feel like they got something out of it — whether it's inspiration for their next trip or a laugh from reading about my experiences. That's a lot of pressure to put on myself and for that reason, I've never been able to take the next steps to making The Sauce Life come to life.
What made me decide to give blogging another go again is the fact that I've been getting a lot of questions from friends and strangers about my weekend trip to Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California recently. The number of people who have shown interest in my thoughts and my recommendations has in a way re-motivated me to work on The Sauce Life — partially to save myself from having to copy and paste my itinerary dozens of times, but also because I do enjoy sharing special moments with everyone.
I'm not sure how long this blog will stay alive, but I hope you have fun browsing around! You can find my first blog post about the Valle here. Let me know what you think!
